I GOT A JOB!

Hey Guys,
well yesterday I finally decided between the two jobs, and i chose the one in surgery!! I will be working full time starting june 7th- sep 3rd, and then I'll have to see if I can get something permanate in the fall, which i'm hoping for!! But for now, I'm glad that I have a job as soon as I'm done with school- Looking forward to it!
other then that, I started my last internship this week. I am in a geriatrics rehab clinic. There's not a lot to do there, as far as practical things like taking blood tests etc., but It's still super busy. Geriatrics Rehab are mostly patients with some for of amputation that are in the hospital for training. I also have some patients with severe heart problems that are in the hospital for pain management, which I take care of. So, its fun and i like it, but it's not something i'd like to work with long term!
Tonite im going to my friend Johannas house for a dinner party which will be fun!
Also, Jason and Courtney are getting married today at 2pm, so CONGRATS!!! WISH I COULD BE THERE!!

WHAT A BEGINNING

hey everyone,
well talk about a great beginning for the week. Yesterday I got a call from the lady I interview with last week adn she offered me a job, with more pay then I had expected! Then today we presented our dissertation for the board of proffessors and they thought it was great!! The only thing they had to comment about was our title, which we just have to adjust a little bit!! They said we had done an excellent job and that they thought we should publish it to the school website so that others have access to it!! SO, AS YOU CAN SEE- THIS IS GONNA BE AN AWESOME WEEK!!!

JOB OFFER!!

Hey guys,
So as some of you know I had the strangest call sat. afternoon. This lady named Mia, who is the boss of one of the medicine clinics at the hospital called me and wanted to offer me a job for the summer and fall. I was soo suprised when she called bc I hadnt even applied to her hospital. So, I met with her on Monday and everything went really well. She just called me about an hour ago and told me that she was just checking my references, and that she would get back to me with a concrete offer by the end of the week!! SOOOOO, i'm really stoked!! I really dont want to work in medicine- rather work in surgery- but with the job shortage here I'll take what I can get to start off with...now i have a few jobs to choose from so hopefully by next week I will have decided and have a job!!!!! A special thanks to Meg for always telling me how great it is that I'm almost done and encouraging me!!! Miss you all- love Gita
